Participation

The After School Program (ASP) begins Tuesday, September 5th and is held Monday–Friday on school days from 2:30–6:00pm at the North Collins Elementary School.

There is NO ASP on holidays, half days, virtual learning days, or days school is closed/released early due to weather or other instances.

Students must be in Pre Kindergarten –6th Grade and attend North Collins Elementary School to take part in the ASP.

All students are required to be registered and paid in full and have agreed to the terms and conditions of the Waiver of Liability and COVID-19 Participation Acknowledgement to attend the program.

Registration & Payment

The cost to attend the ASP is $8 per day, per child. Parents/Guardians will be required to prepay for the registered days of the program. There are 2 ways to pay:

  1. Monthly payment based on the number of days per week your child is registered 
  2. One-time payment for the total amount of days from September to December based on the number of days your child is registered

Example: Alex will attend ASP on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This will be a total of 12 days of ASP for Alex in October. Alex’s parent will need to make a payment of $96 (12 days x $8 per day) by September 25th.

Please read carefully: Payment for ASP is expected by 6:00 pm on the 25th of each month for the following month. If payment is not made in full, your child will not be allowed to participate or attend ASP until the balance is paid in full. Your child will be sent home on the bus. At this time, it is your responsibility to make sure that childcare arrangements are made as sufficient notice has been provided. Students will NOT be permitted to stay for ASP unless they are pre-paid. All accounts must be current and remain in good standing in order to participate.

Any changes in your child’s attendance for ASP must be done with 24 hours prior to changes being made. If your child does not attend on the days that they are registered for, the account will still be charged. This is to ensure that we have proper staffing.  

Registration for the school year is online only. You MUST register through your NC Parks & Rec Family Account. If you do not have one, click the button below to create an account.

Staff may be contacted during the After School Program between 2:30 and 6:00 pm at 337-0166 ext. 2315. Please refer to the main office at 337-0166 ext. 2151 during normal school hours.

Dismissal

Upon arrival for pickup, pick up person should park in the front circle of the school on Bantle Road. Then, please call 716-337-0166, ext. 2315. A Counselor will walk out with your child and verify the pickup designee. PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLE.

Signs will be visible with the phone number when you pull up. Changes to pick up individuals must be made in advance by phone call or note. Everyone should be prepared to show ID if asked.

This program operates from dismissal to 6:00 pm. The parent or one of the authorized persons listed on the registration form must pick up the child/children no later than 6:00pm. Picking up the child/children late more than 3 times may result in suspension from the program. If your child is not scheduled to attend the program they will be placed on the bus to go home.
